Airport Hotel Basel - Convenient & Friendly

Amazing hotel with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. I'll never forget how the staff helped with my heavy bags on my first visit. I highly recommend it for a relaxing weekend stay.

The location is excellent, two stops from Basel Airport and 20 minutes from the centre. The staff are as always friendly. The room is functional, the bathroom is small but functional too. The best is the breakfast buffet, good variety of thes and coffees, only two juices but both very rich. variety of cheeses, cold meats and cereals. Scrambled eggs, bacon (exquisite) and sausages. A machine for instant hotcakes. It is also possible to walk to the basel casino where the XXL burger is a delight to a perfect wreck. I have been there twice and I still recommend it and I will surely stay there again.

The only bad thing is that, unlike other hotels of a similar range, here there is no coffee maker in the room to prepare coffee or the and no iron for those who occupy it in case of emergency.

Double room included an electronic key card, a work desk and a flat-screen TV. The bed was very comfy and I had a private bathroom. The staff where supper friendly and very welcoming in case of questions. The location was marvellous to casino with free 5 francs voucher.

Convenient position with easy free access from airport in 5 mins. Free Basel city travel pass gives access to city centre in 10 mins and any direction beyond. Staff helpful, free car parking and free wi fi and we had a splendid clean bright room on 10th floor

The location was particularly good and magnificent and the private parking was on site. The property was set in a very industrial area.

Clean rooms and friendly staff, but no coffee/tea facilities in the room.

We were greeted with kindness and liquid refreshments upon checking in to the hotel. It was late at night and we had traveled 8 hours by train from Venice. The man at the registration desk offered us a glass of water or orange juice. The ambiance of the entire hotel was extravagant luxury and we felt like royalty. The lighting in our room was soothing and a welcome sign was displayed on the big screen tv welcoming us by name. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and there was air conditioning. It was a lovely place to stay.

I did not feel it was fair to charge us 25 cf/each for breakfast when the room itself cost 360 cf for one night! That seemed exorbitant but the benefit was that it was close to the airport and we had an early morning flight to catch.

Modern, clean, easy access to the city (bus every 10 minutes until midnight), complementary drink upon arrival, free transportation pass for two day offered, free parking underground.

Our room was on the 8th floor, yet to see a plane and there was no noise. Excellent underground car park with security camera. We were provided with a free transport ticket for bus and tram in Basel which was excellent only 15 mins from city centre.

1 minute walk to free bus for airport, 4:30 am free coffee and croissants and free internet.

The room is fabulous, nicely appointed, spacious and extremely comfortable. The restaurant hotel, The Rose (??) is absolutely outstanding, well worth the visit.

Couldn't recommend more for a momentary pause

Cozy room, friendly staff, with a superb breakfast that fueled my day and a convenient free airport shuttle, made my travels easy.
